1. What we send

CallWerx provides answering and dispatch software to telephone answering services. CallWerx's own text messaging is used only to demonstrate and test the platform: short, low-volume messages that show what a dispatch notification looks like, for example that a new message is waiting for review. These messages are informational only. CallWerx does not send marketing or promotional text messages, and does not text callers or the general public.

2. Who receives messages

Only people taking part in a CallWerx test or demonstration, including CallWerx's owner and team, who have agreed beforehand to receive test texts.

3. How consent works

  1. We ask first. Before any text is sent, we ask the person for permission to text the number they give us, in person, by phone, or on a video call. We only text people who say yes.
  2. Initial notice. The first message identifies CallWerx, explains that it is a demo message, and tells the recipient how to opt out or get help.
  3. Opt-out is always honored. Replying STOP ends messages immediately.
Message frequency varies and is occasional. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

4. Example messages

  • Initial notice: CallWerx: You've agreed to receive demo texts about the CallWerx platform. Msg freq varies. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • Demo dispatch alert: CallWerx demo: A new message is waiting on the Sample Answering Service account. This is a demonstration text. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
  • Demo on-call notice: CallWerx demo: You're on call for Sample Account until 7:00 AM. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

5. Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any CallWerx text message to stop receiving messages. You'll receive one confirmation, and no further messages after that. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details below.

6. Messaging by CallWerx customers

CallWerx customers (answering services) may configure text notifications for their own staff. Customers are responsible for obtaining consent from those recipients, as described in our Terms of Service. CallWerx's demonstration messaging described on this page is not used to send messages on behalf of customers.

7. Your information

No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent or opt-in data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. For details on how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
